We cannot ever realize a sustainable culture and world without our bodies supporting the hopes and dreams of our hearts and heads. Our bodies are among our personal, most precious natural resources. What does it mean to break body habits, move creatively while centered in intention, and put our vision and prayers into dance actions for peace and love? How do dancers transcend the formality and structure of their technique to harbor loose, open hearts? How do actors feel the authenticity of dance in every action? How do activists invigorate their work by feeling the power of their bodies? Let’s come together and answer these questions with even better ones! This class is for anybody (2 year olds- 99 year olds, green people, purple striped people, two elbowed folks too) who want to feel the magic of ancestry and hope for the future through their bodies, and realize their potential in mind, heart and body equally.
