Teacher Training Program

Eveoke's Teacher Training Program (TTP) is for performing artists at any level who want to make a living as a dance educator and/or arts educator. 

The TTP is a 2-year program that involves technique & elective classes, assisting & teaching in Eveoke’s outreach and onsite programs, weekly pedagogy classes & homework, staff & peer-based evaluation, as well as final teaching projects that are done within the larger community.  TTP participants work directly under the mentorship of Company Dancer & Master Teaching Artist Erika Malone to develop their professional capacities in dance education, creative & artful thinking, and the alignment of teaching with Eveoke’s mission to cultivate compassionate social action. 

Applications are being accepted for the 2010-2012 TTP

group through the end of September.

Step 2 - Interview with Erika Malone

Step 3 - Final Decision to enter the program is made mutually.

The cost of the TTP Program is $30 per month which includes all materials/supplies, but does not cover your dance classes.  Unlimited monthly classes are $100 per month and tuition assistance is available for anyone who needs it.
